What you will find there
SPELEOLOGY, PREHISTORICAL ARCHAEOLOGY, INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY AND GEOLOGY. The site includes a Museum, located right next to the Speleo Club Association, the cave of Acquacadda, a wonderful prehistorical site dating back to the Copper Age, rooms and findings of the old mining activity and a sampling of different Sardinian rocks.

The Site Activities
Besides the exhibition areas and the archaeological cave of Acquacadda, which require a guided tour, the Site provides recreational activities and workshops for young people and pupils of all ages and school levels.

Sa Marchesa - Nuxis - Sito Geo Speleo and Archaeological Site
The museum of Sa Marchesa ranges between various disciplines, including geology, paleontology, archaeology and speleology. Visitors will experience a journey throughout the history of our planet (focusing on Sardinian territory) from very ancient times, at the beginning of human origins, to the present days. The site includes exhibition areas and the archaeological cave of Acquacadda, which both require a guided tour. Besides, Sa Marchesa pays special attention to young people, providing recreational activities and workshops for pupils of all ages and school levels.
HISTORY OF THE "SA MARCHESA" MINE
Set right next to the Speleo Club Association of Nuxis, it exhibits several objects related to the activities pursued by the Speleo Club in the last 35 years.
